Opal Electronics · Bright Ideas

Big ideas can start with a little doodle. An employee's child's drawings give Opal Electronics' Bright Ideas tee its personality, from a tiny device sketch to a blue character with a very big grin.

Bright Ideas: front and back

Overview

Opal Electronics makes cameras and other consumer electronics, so a child's drawing of a little device feels right at home here. The blue sketch sits above orange Opal Electronics lettering on the chest. On the back, a much bigger blue character beams out with star-shaped eyes and an idea floating overhead. Both came from an employee's child, which gives the tee a lovely connection to the people behind the products. The textured lines and generous grin carry the whole design. You can almost picture the drawing before it ever became a shirt.
