Referral program terms

Who can take part

Anyone can request a referral link at blankup.org/refer. You must give accurate information and follow these terms. Rewards are only ever earned on real, paid orders.

What counts as a qualifying referral

A referral qualifies when all of the following are true:

• The referred customer used a valid referral link or code.
• The referred customer is a company, team, brand, club, nonprofit, or organization that is new to blankup.
• They were not already an active prospect. A company we had an open quote, an order, or a substantive sales conversation with in the 180 days before the referral is not a new referral.
• They reach the applicable minimum and pay their invoice in full.
• The order is not cancelled, refunded, charged back, or found to be fraudulent.
• The referrer and the referred customer are not the same person or organization.

Judgment calls happen. A genuinely separate department of a large company or university may qualify, and blankup may approve those case by case.

The new customer's discount

10% off the eligible merchandise subtotal of their first qualifying order, up to $150. A minimum eligible merchandise subtotal of $500 applies.

The referrer's reward

After the referred customer completes and pays for a qualifying order, the referrer earns 10% off the eligible merchandise subtotal of their next qualifying order, up to $250. We apply that credit automatically when they request a quote. A minimum eligible merchandise subtotal of $750 applies.

A reward expires 180 days after it is earned. One reward may be applied per order. Rewards are order credit only: they have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, cannot be combined with another referral reward, and cannot be applied retroactively to an order that is already priced or paid.

What the discount covers

It applies to the eligible merchandise subtotal, which includes:

• Blank apparel
• Screen printing, embroidery, and DTG
• Standard decoration and packaging included in the merchandise price

It does not apply to:

• Taxes and shipping
• Rush charges, expedited production, and expedited shipping
• Artwork, design, and digitization fees
• Samples and third-party pass-through costs
• Deposits and previously issued invoices
• Other charges a quote identifies as excluded

Attribution

Clicking a referral link stores the referrer's code in your browser for 90 days, and it attaches to your quote request automatically. After you provide an email while starting or saving a quote, blankup may preserve that first-touch code in a protected email-bound record for the same period. Automatic cross-device attribution cannot be guaranteed; enter the code manually on the other device if it is not shown there.

Each referred customer is credited to one referrer. The first valid referrer wins, unless the customer supplies a different code themselves. blankup determines attribution using referral links, codes, lead records, and existing customer relationships.

Abuse

blankup may reject, suspend, cancel, or reverse any referral or reward where it reasonably believes there has been fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, self-referral, duplicate accounts, code leakage to coupon sites, or a breach of these terms. Referral discounts and rewards may also be cancelled or reversed if the associated order is cancelled, refunded, disputed, or charged back.

Sharing your link honestly

If you share your link publicly, say that you may receive an order credit when someone orders through it. Our suggested messages already include that line. It matters: a reward creates a connection your reader would not otherwise expect, and it needs to be stated next to the recommendation itself.

Privacy

To run the program we process referral relationships, link visits, referral and reward codes, reward history, and the contact and order information needed to confirm eligibility. A referrer is told when someone they referred requests a quote and when a reward is earned, and never sees what that customer ordered or what it cost. See our Privacy policy.

Changes and decisions

blankup may modify, suspend, or end the referral program. Changes will not normally affect a reward that was validly earned before the change, except where needed to address fraud, legal requirements, technical errors, or abuse. blankup makes the final determination on eligibility, attribution, and rewards, and will review a decision on request.
